Joseph Esherick (December 28, 1914 – December 17, 1998) was an influential San Francisco Bay area architect and professor at UC Berkeley. Some of his best known work is in Sea Ranch, CA. The architectural firm EHDD grew out of his personal practice, which was eventually joined by George W. Homsey, Peter Dodge, and Chuck Davis. EHDD is a well respected firm with many notable buildings, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
